French Guiana. Just outside of the Trésor Nature Reserve at the eastern edge. Roura to Kaw road, Route Departementale no. 6.

Description:

Tree, 30 m x 100 cm. Bole cylindric above, irregular toward base, swollen at very base. Bark light brown, with irregular vertically oriented cracks, the outer bark thin, the inner bark thick, whitish to slightly yellowish brown. With abundant, relatively fresh fruit under tree. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.

Habitat:

Non-flooded forest.
