Description:

Shrub to 0.3 m; calyx purple, corolla white. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
Habitat:

Growing in rocks in savanna. Savanna dominated by Cenchrus, Brocchina, and Orectante; shrub islands over rocks with Clusia, Myrtaceae, Ternstroemia (2 spp.) and Ilex; cloud forest dominated by Moronobea, Clusia, Dicymbe, and Ternstroemia (a 3rd spp.).
