Description:

Tree 30m tall, 47.5cm dbh. Bole cylindrical, but compressed basally. Symmetrical rounded buttresses. Outer bark large scaly, hard, lenticellate, light orange-yellow; inner bark hard, gritty, light orange-yellow turning yellowish-brown after exposure. Strong turpene smell to slash. Sapwood yellow-white. Exudate a sticky brownish-white resin. Fruits green to yellow-green.
Habitat:

Non-flooded moist forest.
