Description:

Tree 7 m. tall. Leaves dark green above, chestnut-brown beneath. Bark peeling in thin, longitudinal plates. Buds pink, petals white, stamens dark pink. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
Habitat:

Primary forests on Main Ridge. Occasional.
