Description:

Tree. Tree to 8 m, trunks to 0.3 m DBH, bark grey and white, smooth; leaves to 0.7 m, orange tan below; flower with anthers purple. Young fruit purple pink, 1.3 cm, 0.8 cm dia.
Habitat:

In overgrown fields on ridge. Mixed forest, regrowth vegetation on old road and farm. Locally abundant.
