Brazil. Amazonas. Manaus. Ca. 90 Km N de Manaus, Distrito Agropecuário da SUFRAMA, Rodovia BR 174, Km 72, depois 6 Km oeste da BR, Fazenda Dimona. Reserva nº 2303. Tropical upland evergreen forest (mata de terra firme sobre latosolo amarelo). Alt. 50 m. (164 ft.)

Description:

Tree 30m tall x 45cm diameter, bark irregularly large-flaky or platy. Inflorescence below the leaves, on stems to 1cm diameter or more, not very showy, lightly and sweetly fragrant, corolla tube pink, the lobes yellow-green, stames dull pale yellow. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

Tropical upland evergreen forest (mata de terra firme sobre latosolo amarelo).
