Description:

Terrestral; internodes short, 2 cm diam., medium green, matte to weakly glossy; petioles medium green and glossy, sharply sulcate adaxially on free part, sheath apex attenuate at apex; blades subcoriaceous, semiglossy, slightly bicolorous; midrib flat-raised and concolorous, margins blunt above, narrowly rounded and moderately paler below; primary lateral veins many, weakly quilted above, weakly quilted-raised below, concolorous on both surfaces; minor veins slightly visible.
