Beginning at the approximate geographic center of the seat/headquarters of the reserve (-19.056291, -40.147318), used Google Maps - Measure Distance tool to measure a straight line directly north to the farthest north point within the bounds of the park at approximately the same longitude as the seat of the reserve (-18.956817, -40.147309), then divided that distance by 2 to estimate the location of the geographic midpoint. Using Google Maps - What's Here tool, found coordinates (final) for the approximate geographic midpoint. This same distance, which is equivalent to the distance from each endpoint to the midpoint, was also used as the linear extent.
