Definition:

Referring to tertiary veins that orginate from the midrib and arch downward to the infra adjacent secondary vein.

Notes:

Tertiary veins normally depart from the secondary veins but in some species veins equal in diameter to tertiary veins depart from the midrib, curve downward, and join the infra adjacent secondary veins.
