Description: Abaxial (left) and adaxial (right) views of leaves of Dioscorea villosa based on Mori & Rothman 27860 from the Westchester Wilderness Walk/Zofnass Family Preserve. The leaf margins are entire and the primary veins arch up from the point where the petiole attaches to the blade and converge at the apex of the leaf blade. This kind of venation is callled acrodromous.
