Description: Flabellate (flabelliform) leaves and short shoots of Gingko biloba based on an unvouchered plant growing at the Botanical Garden Metro North railroad station. Note that the leaves are flabellate and possess short shoots from which the leaves arise.

A condensed branchlet bearing leaves at the apex. The shoots are usually covered aggregated scars.
