Venezuela. Bolívar. Torono-tepuí. Summit, at edge of escarpment in and among zanjones. Alt. 2165 - 2180 m. (7103 - 7152 ft.)

Description:

Shrub to 3-4 m tall. Leaves coriaceous, deep green above, silvery below, ascending. Corolla urceolate-campanulate, creamy white above with spreading creamy-white lobes, pinkish at base. Calyx glaucous, lavander at base, magenta- rose red abnove and on lobes. Pedicels spreading, lavander and green. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
