Description:

Terrestrial shrub with branches to 1.5 m long; rachis green suffused with red; pedicels and calyx red; basal 1/2-3/4 of corolla rose-red, upper 1/2-1/4 white. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
Habitat:

Steep roadside slopes. Cloud forest. Infrequent.
