Distribution and Ecology - Distribution. Known from Trinidad, Guyana and Venezuela where it has been infrequently collected. The recently named P. breweri does not differ appreciably from P. urichiana where it is here placed. The following collection represents the third report from Venezuelan Guayana: VENEZUELA. Edo. Bolivar: Mt. Roraima, SW slopes, 7400 ft, 5 Jan 1939, Pinkus 127.
