Description: Epiphytic shrub with semi-rigid branches; branchlets brownish, minutely puberulous, becoming glabrous and cinerous; petioles subrugose, 1-2 mm long; leaf-blades thick-coriaceous, ovate, 15-35 x 7-16 mm, rounded or lightly subcordate at base, obtuse at apex, entire at margins, glabrous; 3-plinerved from base, the nerves obscure or elevated beneath, the veinlets obscure; pedicels 14-18 mm long; flowers 4-merous, glabrous; calyx tube obconical, about 1.8 mm long and 1.5 mm diam. at anthesis; limb erecto-patent, 1-1.5 mm long; lobes deltate, subacute, ca. 0.8 mm long; corolla cylindric, about 8 mm long and 1.5-2 mm diam., the lobes deltate-ovate, subacute, ca. 1 mm long; stamens 8, subequal, nearly as long as corolla; filaments 4-4.5 mm long, pilose, the hairs pale, about 0.4 mm long; anthers 3 mm long; tubules about twice as long as the locules. Berry ellipsoid, 4-6 mm long and 2.5-3 mm diam.
Distribution: Vicinity of Mt. Roraima (Venezuela, Guyana-Brazil boundary area), probably present day Venezuela. Rare.
