Description:

viney shrub with branches to 2 m long; plant arising from swollen tubers. leaves dark green above, ligh green beneath; pedicels green suffusedwith red; calyx and lower 4/5 of corolla red. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
Habitat:

steep slopes, montane cloud forest. one plant seen in flower.
