Sparsely branched shrublets up to 300 mm.m rarely 500 mm; flowers oxblood red to deep wine red, viscid. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
Habitat:

Southwest facing upper moist loamy slopes. Short thick fynbos. Locally frequent.
