Description:

terrestrial shrub with branches to 1.5 m. calyx and lower 3/4 of corolla dark rose-red, upper 1/4 white; coro-lla fleshy becoming constricted at throat. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

wet forest area. common, little in flower.
