Description:

Epiphyte, branches to 1.5 m long. Calyx green. Corolla totally red. Growing in vicinity of Gaultheria reticulata, Cavendishia martii, C. bracteata, and Disterigma ovata.

Habitat:

Steep roadside slopes through disturbed montane forest. Common.
