Description:

Semiprostrate, spreading terrestrial shrub; branches to 1.5 m long. Some young leaves succulent, but mature leaves not. Calyx green, viscid with capitate, glandular hairs. Corolla bright red. [DNA (air dried); pickled].

Habitat:

Steep slopes through forest.
