Description:

Terrestrial, or more commonly epiphytic, shrub to 2 m. Calyx pale green, 10-ribbed. Corolla red, but inside of lobes dark blue-black. Flowers pendent; fruits erect. Scattered. [DNA].

Habitat:

Montane forest along river, currently being cut for pasture. Scattered.
