Description:

Scrambling, epiphytic shrub. Sterile. Vegetative buds producing mucilaginous clear substance. Abundant, but none in flower. [DNA]. Plants pretreated with EtOH.

Habitat:

Mature wet forest that receives ca. 8800 mm rainfall annually. Abundant, but none in flower.
