Description:

Terrestrial shrub 2 m tall. Floral bracts rose-red. Corolla greenish-yellow becoming yellow at tip. Berry dark blue. Common. [photo].

Habitat:

Heavily disturbed, secondary forest at foot of Cerro Tute. Common.
