Description:

Terrestrial shrub to 1.5 m tall. Corolla bright red, campanulate-cylindric, thin. Immature berry green, glaucous. Abundant locally. [Pickled]. Plants pretreated with EtOH.

Habitat:

Rocky, open savanna with. Ericaceae and Rapateaceae dominants. Abundant locally.
