Description:

Shrub, 1 m tall, bark deep bronze, smooth, flowers reddish. Phenology of specimen: Fertile, Flower.

Habitat:

At pass, north facing. With Quercus gambellii, Cercocarpus, Artemisia, Chrysothamnus. Common at higher elevations. Deep soil.
