Description:

Very succulent-leaved, epilithic, subshrub. Corolla red. Leaves with taste of oxalic acid. Common, but little in flower. [Plants pretreated with EtOH.] [Pickled; DNA].

Habitat:

Extremely steep roadside slopes through mattoral vegetation that is subject to periodic fires.
