Description:

terrestrial shrub to 1 m tall. leaves clasping stem; inflorescence hairs ferrugineous; floral bracts green heavily suffused w/red.
Habitat:

steep roadside slopes (heavily disturbed).

Collection Notes: corolla slightly angled, white with dark rose ridges (of the angles)turning completely red after anthesis; stem and leaf pubescence ferrugineous
