Description:

shrub to 2 m. leave coriaceous, mid-yellowish green, slightly glossy above, paler & dull bellow, calyces green w/purple tinge. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

grass páramo w/pockets of shrubs. common in open paramo.
