Description:

Shrub ca. 2 m tall; flowers mostly fallen, but few remaining ones pale yellow; capsules immature, viscid. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
Habitat:

Abies- Picea-Larix forest with several species of mixed evergreen Rhododendron, including R. arboreum (mostly stump sprouts - original trees cut for firewood) and R. wardii. In Rhododendron thicket.
