Description:

wirey, arching, terrestrial shrub with branches to 2.5 m long. calyx green, glucous; corolla red, membranaceous, campanulate; matu-re berry blue-black. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.

Habitat:

open shrubby savanah. common, little in flower.
