Description:

terrestrial shrub with branches to 2 m long. floral bracts translucent purple; calyx tube green, limb tinged withpurple; lower 3/4 of corolla pale translucent purple.
Habitat:

forest edges and remnant tree stumps in pasturelands. scattered.
