Description:

Shrub 2m tall. stems with wintergreen odor. Rachis, floral bracts, pedicels and calyx cream colored. Corolla pure white. Mature calyx turning maroon.
Habitat:

Heavily disturbed slopes through remnant montane forest & pastureland. Locally common.
