Description:

Erect terrestrial shrub with branches to 2 m long. Rhachis, pedicels & calyx green heavily suffused with red; corolla carnose, angled, bright red, lobe tips slightly purplish.

Habitat:

Steep slopes with remant cloud forest. Infrequent.
