Description:

Shrub to 1.5 m tall. Inflorescence viscid; petals bright pink becoming white at the base.
Habitat:

Sandstone outcrops with sterile, white sand overlying black sand. Scattered.
Feature Notes:

Common name: "Matamoscas."
