Description:

terrestrial or epiphytic shrub with branches to 1.5 m long. young twigs, leaves and floral buds secrete a white, sticky latex present at anthesis completely enclosing the flowers.
Habitat:

steep moist roadside slopes and pasture borders. frequent, none in flower.
