Location:

United States of America. New Jersey. Ocean Co. 1 - 11/2 mi. west of Warren Grove, NJ, Ocean co. Road west at firehouse bearing right. Along crossroad beyond end of pavement - both north and south.

Description:

Creeping shrub of 1 - 11/2'', often partly hidden under dry oak leaves. Leaves evergreen. Inflorescence terminal, 1 - 8n9 flower buds per inflorescence. Buds only present.

Habitat:

Mostly under vegetation near edge. Soil sandy.
