Panama. Coclé. Trail along continental divide to the E at Los Volteaderos, ca. 12.4 km N of La Pintada along road to Coclecito. Alt. 540 m. (1772 ft.)

Description:

Epiphytic shrub, branches 2 m long. Pedicels, calyx and lower (swollen) corolla reddish-orange; corolla limb and lobes white. Frequent.

Habitat:

Primary forest at summit of cerro with Colpothrinax, Melastomataceae, Eugenia, Bromeliaceae and Ericaceae. Frequent.
