Colombia. Antioquia. Uramita-Peque road, 20-22 km above Uranta (Las Juntas). Alt. 2500 - 2600 m. (8202 - 8530 ft.)

Description:

terrestrial shrub with branches to 1.5 m long. rachis and pedicels green heavily suffused with pink; calyx and lo- wer 1/2 of corolla pink at anthesis, upper 1/2 of corolla white, berry turning purple.

Habitat:

steep roadside slopes through cloud forest. locally common.
