Description:

stem base tuberous; epiphytic shrub with branches 0.5 m long. floral bracts brown; bracteoles, pedicels and calyx green, suffused with red on dorsal surfaces.

montane cloud forest.

Collection Notes: corolla slightly zygomorphic, bright reddish-orange; stamens and style appresed to dorsal surface of inner corolla tube
