Description:

Shrub about 1m tall, growing in dense patch along roadside ditch, twigs pinkish, bracts of infloresence red, peduncle red, fruit black, eaten by collectors. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
Habitat:

Edge of young forest with Picea, Tsuga.
