Description:

Terrestrial shrub, 1 m tall. Floral bracts, bracteoles and calyx pale green. Corolla red with insides of lobes dark blue-black. Locally common. [DNA].
Habitat:

Remnant forest trees in pastures and forest edge. Locally common.
