Description:

few-branched shrub. stiff thick leaves, corolla-tube red, white at mouth; fruits green becoming reddish. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
Habitat:

dense elfin forest of small (5 m) trees and steep slopes with dense growth of shrubs and bamboo 1-2 m tall.
