Arbusto heliofilo com até 1m. de altura; caule, e peciolos vermelhos; folhas verde muito escuro na face ventral e verde muito claro na face dorsal; rachis da inflorescencia e flores rosa-avermenlhada; bracteas vermelhas. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
