Description:

shrub to 3 m. inflorescence bracts green with reddish tinge at margins; floral bracts pink to red; calyx tube green.

Habitat:

wet forest and steep roadside slopes. abundant from area.

Collection Notes: calyx limb and lobes pinkish-green; corolla white basal 1/4, gradingto pink middle 1/2, to red distal 1/4; limb and lobes pink with lobemargins dark red
