Description:

shrub, 1 m, terrestrial. Inflorescence ±corymbose; rachis green but obscured by maroon tint; pedicels dark red, but becoming light red in fruit. calyx deep, bright yellow in bud and anthesis, but becoming green after corollas fall; corollas deep bright yellow, fleshy; filaments translucent whitel anthers golden. Abundant nectar at anthesis. Berry dark green, immature. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
Habitat:

In shade of other plants. Roadside bank; heavily disturbed roadsides. one plant seen.
