Description:

Terrestrial shrub to ca. 2 m tall. Leaves hard-coriaceous. Calyx angled (bluntly) and somewhat warty. Corolla rose-red with white lobes. Common locally. [Photo; pickled; DNA; wood].
Habitat:

Steep road-cut, rocky, exposed, wet slopes dominated by Ericaceae.
