Description:

ligneous, 0.5 m. calyx rose; corolla rose; fruit wine-red, globose; leaves ascending,coriaceous, dark green above, pale below. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

swampy depression in wet savanna. locally frequent.
