Panama. Chiriquí. Slopes approaching Cerro Horqueta, starting about 6.6 km N-NE of Boquete. Alt. 1500 - 1800 m. (4921 - 5905 ft.)

Description:

shrub, 2 m., usually epiphytic. Shrub 2 m tall, bushy. Corollas red. Usually an epiphyte in the tops of tall trees. Leaves dark green above and pale green beneath. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

Apparently common judging by the corollas on the ground but few seen.
