Description:

pendent epiphytic shrub with branches to 2 m long. floral bracts dark rose-red; rachis and pedicel cream-colored; calyxtube pale green, limb and lobes translucent-cream.
Habitat:

remnant forest along stream. rare.

Collection Notes: floral bracts becoming wine-red distally; corolla basal 3/4 translu-cent white, upper 1/4 pale yellowish-green becoming bright red afteranthesis; floral bracts concave and emarginate
