Description:

terrestrial shrub with branches to 2 m long. inflorescence bracts pruplish-violet; floral bracts purple; pedicelspale yellowish-green; calyx tube pale green.
Habitat:

remnant forest along stream. common, little in flower.

Collection Notes: calyx tube tinged with purple, lobes dark green; lower 3/4 of corol-la translucent purple, upper 1/4 white, lobe margins purple; fruit dark blue-black
